Okay since I woke up alot earlier than I expected to and no one else is awake other than me, I shall make use of this time to post about my trip to Indonesia. It's probably gonna be a long post but I'll try to make it as easy as possible to read everything (:
Well so on 25 December we arrived at Surabaya, Indonesia at around 9am. That's my dad's hometown, that's why I never go to Jarkata like everyone else does, except for that ONE time I went there for ASEAN cup. My uncle and my aunt picked my family up from the airport (: We went to have soto ayam for breakfast first before we checked in the hotel. (If you don't know what soto ayam is, it's okay. It's an indonesia delicacy which is freaking nice :D)
We stayed in JW Mariott. It was quite nice. Some pics (:

So, no. We didn't go shopping on our first day. I went to visit my relatives. I went to my uncle's house to talk to my aunt for awhile. Then I went to visit my grandparents from my dad's side. I can't remember who I had lunch with.. But I think I went with my dad's side of relatives for dinner. Yeah.
My other aunt (from my dad's side) bought us donuts. Apparently there are Dunkin Donuts there but there's this place called J.Co Donuts which is better. Anyway we got donuts from J.Co and they were nice (: Really cheap too! Like 49000 RP for a dozen. That is around.. 60cents a donut :D

Think that was all for day one. The next day I went to see my other aunt from my mom's side. She took us out for lunch (: Then I learnt and tried a bit of DotA from my cousin at his house. Hahahah when I watched my sis play she looked like a complete idiot compared to The Ultimate Fags. Then we gave up and he let us play Crazy Taxi instead. I beat my sis MUAHAHAHAHA :D
Oh hahaha I can't remember WHEN but we DID shop at the uber huge mall(s) and clothes are very cheap! (: I bought like 7 shirts for $35. Hahahah. I bought more than that but some of them weren't in the $5 range. Boohoo.
Hmm well I had seafood dinner with my mom's side relatives (: The seafood was really nice! Aahh and the restaurant was so crowded, the queue never seemed to end! D: Anyway yeah I enjoyed it.
Sleep then next day breakfast at hotel. Went to my aunt's house for a while then I left for my mother's hometown. It's called Pare. Pronounced "Pa-rei" and not "Pear"! It's a really ulu village.
On the way there, we passed by alot of farms. When I say farms, I don't mean those that you read about in books or see in movies such as Charlotte's Web. I mean those you read about in geography textbooks.

Yeah anyway the food my grandma cooks is omgwtf delicious! (: All I did there was eat sleep drink eat sleep drink plus a little bit of playing PS at my cousin's house plus watching Die Hard 3 (It was quite good) when it showed on tv cause there was nothing else to watch since everything was in Indo.
After two days in Pare, we drove back to Surabaya, stayed at the same hotel for one night, bought more stuff, had steamboat dinner with ALL of my dad's side relatives except for my closest cousin from there: Stefanus (I think that's how you spell it?) who recently came to Singapore to study in SIM and stayed in Singapore while we were in Indonesia. Well talked a bit to my other cousins.. Raymond & Eric. It wasn't that bad, considering they dared to open their mouths and talk to me even though their english wasn't exactly perfect. Afterall it's been about 4 years since I last met them. Wow (:

Hello. Am posting from the airport. Will be leaving in less than 1hour's time. I'm really happy this morning, not only because I'm going to Indonesia, but also because someone remembered me! (: Whee okay sorry digressing.
Have 12 mins left but I think I can keep using the com until I go, cause no one seems to want to use it other than me -.- Lol. I seriously have no idea how I will survive without a computer for FIVE days! D: And imagine what will happen to my facebook and the countless amount of requests AAAAAH.
Today is officially Christmas. I got like 9 msgs this morning. Thanks to everyone who messaged me Merry Christmas. Same to you guys too :D Hee. Okay I am running out of things to blog about now. I'm just posting cause I don't want my blog to seem too dead until I come back hurhur.

Well, today was certainly packed! CHRISTMAS SWIM IN THE MORNING! 100x100 :D I managed to keep up for like the first 80, and after that I found out that we seemed to be going faster and faster to the point that I couldn't keep up anymore! I was super duper angry! I wanted to keep up for the whole 100 times but stupid Coach Jin made the timing faster cause we were like the last group to finish. Bleahh.
Knowing myself, I asked Coach Yan who was taking us whether we could have longer rest time so that I could keep up but he just said he was following Coach Jin's orders (!!) so I continued swimming. Then Coach Zhou (Yes, I know alot of coaches got involved in this haha) told me that it was pretty good that I could keep up with about 80 times so he told me to just finish the rest slowly. Hahah I did that and glad to say I didn't feel as tired as I thought I would. Whee.
Didn't eat at the party after that. No mood.
After that went out with MEATBALL! :D eve RAINERFAG! Hahah Rainerfag joined us ALOT later but ohwell I guess spending time with them beats spending time alone at home doing nothing.. Hee. I bought my 3 books (: And I can't wait to start reading them. (Ooh I'm actually reading. Awesome.)
Okay. Now for the more serious stuff. GOING TO INDONESIA TMR! And I can't bring my laptop (WTF !#$%) but yeah so I will have to survive with my ipod + books + tv minus laptop. ARGH. Gonna be shopping + eating most of the time, and I'll get people their Christmas presents! :D Haha!

Trained this morning. The freestyle set started after only 400m of warm up. Hahah how do you expect me to be able to move? Anyway I'm glad I could keep up reasonably. Freestyle set was 2x500 + 2x400 + 2x300 + 2x200 + 2x100. Hahaha coach jin forgot about the 2nd 300 and she moved on to 2x200 HAHAHAH :D
The movers got rid of all the boxes and now my house is really really empty. I don't know how many boxes there were in total, but my sis says it should be around 130. I don't know. Lol.

Ponned morning training + afternoon training today! I am so proud of myself (: It's been a long long time since I srsly ponned training. Heh.
Anyway, the movers came today to pack our stuff. Hahah they packed from like 9.30am to around 4pm O_O Poor them. My house is filled with boxes now. No, I'm not kidding. In fact, I know how many boxes there are. Hurhur.
There are 95 boxes in my house. Yeah. Wanted to post the pics but my phone's bluetooth has some effing problem. Grrrr.
LAWL and what's worse is that the movers are coming again tmr to pack the rest of the stuff. I hope it doesn't exceed 150 boxes, if not we'd have to pay extra. Hahah it's quite cool cause they pack really really efficiently and everything's packed already! I wanted to play tennis today since I didn't train but I remembered that the rackets were packed already )':

Anyway, I discovered some shocking news while packing. Well, my mom has this huge piggybanks where she stores $1 coins throughout the years.. Well today my sis and I decided that we'd take out the money and count them! (: Hahah this is what we discovered.

I shall attempt to post a short post today (:
Firstly, afternoon was well spent. It's been a long time since I could have a long chat with one of my friends. Thanks so much for everything. Hope you can visit me someday in Auckland! :D
Secondly, after my dental appointment, I reached training at around 5.15pm so I didn't get to play basketball. Got straight into the water and training ended at 6.45pm. A little improvement compared to yesterday. Hahah. Swam a 50m sprint free after having not done it for a long while and I managed a 30.1. Satisfactory, yet not quite. Hmm.
Now at home. I wanted to start on my new books tonight but I decided that I'd read it on the plane. 10hour flight man! What the hell am I supposed to do, if there weren't any nice movies to catch? But at the same time I don't want to sleep on the plane. It's such a waste if I do :P
Okay fine I shall not emo at the last part of my post for today. Happy?! Glad you are. Hahahah (:
Whaddahell today's training sucked! This morning was pretty okay, except that there was so much IM. 2 sets of (2x200 + 4x100) to be exact. Nearly died cause my IM sucks like hell. Grrr.
Gym in the afternoon. There doesn't seem to be anything unusual about that, but.. the gym we have in APSC is totally different from the one we have in COE. COE's gym sessions are basically alot of running and just some basic abs workouts like crunches sit-ups and push-ups etc etc. APSC's gym sessions are lifting weights! Aargh! The last time I did weights for gym was when I last trained in APSC! That is approximately 1 and a half years ago O_O. Tell me I had no reason to die at gym today and I'll shoot you. Bang.
Worse thing is, I'm supposed to be having a break from all the hardcore training in COE. So, by right I shouldn't be training so hard. I got informed just after gym session today that the APSC swimmers are actually pushing during gym. Which is the total opposite of what I'm supposed to do - RELAX. Gyahhh then uncle chih yong (I think that's how you spell it?) said next time I can just do half of what the others do for gym! :D Yayness but I think ponning the whole gym session instead is a better choice :P
Afternoon training started off with gym session from 4.30 to about 5.45. Pretty late, but we still had to finish the freaking long set. I thought Zhou jiaolian would cut some sets off, but oh no, HE DIDN'T. In the end we finished training at like 7.20 WTH. Finished showering at 7.40 and I reached home at like 8pm. This has gotta be the latest time I finished training in a longggg while. Tsk. Looks like training at APSC has kicked off a bad start. Dang.
Other than that I've been stuck at home these few days. Been organising the freaking party of mine. Sheesh. At first my classmates said they wanted to help me organise a party for me but in the end look who's the one doing all the work? ME. Lol you guys are such jokes. Urgh.
Got up till Friday to pack everything. Movers are coming to my house and packing all the stuff on friday so my house will be so nice and empty (: Wheeeeee.
Just remembered, I have no morning training tmr! :DDDD & I will be late for training in the afternoon cause I have dental. Damm, because according to Sheryl, tmr is fang4 song1 (relaxation) day and we get to play basketball. WHERE OH WHERE DID ALL MY LUCK GO -.- Hmph.
Oh well. At least I can watch my show at 10pm today. Oh yeah baby.

Anyway, had lunch gathering with COE yesterday. Omg the meal was like totally meat and it was soooo filling I think I put on a few kg. Heh. We celebrated John's 52nd birthday ahead of schedule because he'll be away on his birthday. The chocolate cake was from Awfully Chocolate and it was really nice (: Ultimate meatball turned up and he and camerfag went a bit crazy during the lunch. LOL.
After that went to see my relatives for awhile again, then they went off to orchard while I went to dinner with sab (: Hahah we played Hearts and Tai Tee (Is that how you spell it?) at her house! Despite having not played Hearts for about 4 years (I last played it in Kunming in 2004) & having forgotten HOW to play it, I didn't get my ass owned! (Except for the first round, but HEY! It was a trial run XD) So yup. Went home after that and that was how my day was spent yesterday.
Today! Went to APSC to train this morning and omgzzz I haven't swam hard for so much in sucha long while! What's with the 5x400 and 5x200 free in the morning man! Sheesh! But other than that I think it was okay, since the training starts at 7am instead of COE's 5.30am. Heh.
Took bus home, watched a bit of tv and went to sleep. My day wasn't too boring today, probably because training started later. As in, usually after morning training at COE I'll reach home at around 8 and I would be trying to find things to do to pass my day until afternoon training. Today I reached home at around 10 I think? See, that's two hours difference. Hahah.
Uh, apparently I slept alot this afternoon (No idea why, maybe because I haven't been napping last week) from like 11am to 2.30pm. Woke up, ate lunch, relatives came over, talked, then left for training. Training in APSC in the afternoons isn't so bad as COE. 20x100 free on 1.30, 5x100 comp, 10x50 comp. Although I'm training with the relatively new coach, he knew I was from COE (I didn't even tell him!) and scolded me for not swimming up to HIS standards of a COE swimmer -.- He even told me he'd scold me if I swam like how I did today. Gyahh.
I've confirmed my holiday in Indonesia. Will be away from 25th (yes that's christmas -.-) to the 30th. Lots to eat and lots to shop there. Can't wait can't wait.

Today was pretty eventful.
Had dinner with John and we talked a whole lot about life here and life in new zealand etc etc. He drinks wine like we drink water D: Hahah it's quite weird really. But he kept looking at me from the side of his eyes whenever he mentions that I'm lazy or whatever. Heh :P
Dinner ended at around 10pm.. Then we went to visit my relatives - Two aunts, one cousin and grandfather - who came to Singapore from Indonesia. My cousin's gonna study in SIM. Cool huh (: We never actually talked properly to each other before, because the previous time I went to Indonesia was around 4 years ago and he can't really speak english then. He's 18 now, and omgzzz his english is really shocking. He spoke really well and this is my first time that I've got to know him better (: My sis and I talked to him (well actually it was me and my cousin who did all the talking, my sis hardly talked.) while my parents talked to my two aunts and my grandfather. I can't believe it because we actually talked until 1am and I just reached home.
I'm so glad I got to know my cousin better. I think I'm going out with him tmr. I shall take him around orchard cause he wants to know where he can watch I Am Legend. Heh.

LAST TRAINING SESSION WITH COE TMR. When I say "last", I mean it. I really do.

It was year 2005 when I initially intended to join COE. I was at my peak after school nationals, but as APSC didn't allow swimmers to be in COE & APSC at the same time, I gave it up. Afterall, I have to thank APSC for what I am today. Soon I got over it and I stayed on in APSC.
Year 2006. After a horrible incident of back injury and stagnant timings, I slowly lost motivation to train. There wasn't anyone in APSC whom could motivate me to train hard. Everyone was slacking all the time. I think I can confidently say that I was the hardest worker there.
Bad results in school nationals 2006, and although I had planned to cut down on training from 11 times a week to 3-4 times a week to focus on PSLE, my plans took a drastic change when I decided to join COE. At this point of time, APSC couldn't disallow me from joining because they knew that there was no way I could motivate myself to train hard in APSC, especially with the environment. So, COE it was. 6 times a week, and my parents were quite worried about PSLE. Mostly my mom. Dad was supportive obviously, knowing how crazy he is about sports -.-
First day in COE wasn't pleasant, I recall. Felt really lonely there for the first few months, I reckon. After a while, started to get along with fellow team mates and now I'm so happy to say that I have a lot of good friends there (:
My swimming saw improvement too. I must say, COE has played a very big part in my swimming "career". Although COE has made me feel very down, I am still grateful for everything that the coaches - The best coach ever: Herbert, the strictest coach ever: John, and Uncle Auyeong - have done for me that have got me this far.
Having to part with everyone in COE, be it the swimmers or the coaches, I am very sad and unwilling. But life goes on, and till today, I don't regret joining COE regardless of its heavy committment and pressure. The only thing I regret is having wasted alot of my time in COE training like shit. What's over is over and the only thing I can do now is to focus on training in Auckland.
Things I remember about each of the coaches.. Hmm. Let's start with Herbert :D I think he was the coolest coach ever, and his gym sessions are always the best! What with the ladder and bushu ball! I know the gym is always noisy with all the laughter when the junior squad used it on Mondays and Fridays. Hahahah occasionally Herbert would get pissed off and he'll send all of us out to swim! ):
Herbert was a dedicated coach who put in effort in everything he did. Training hard was so much easier when he was around, since we could have fun admist all the exhaustion (: He was also there to encourage me and I know he liked to tell me that it's mostly my Mental preparation that lacked, not my Physical preparation.
But sometimes I got angry with him because he didn't understand what I was thinking. There was once where I had to do a special set for myself while the others did another set. My set was something like 8x100 dive max, and he said I had to make 8 times of 1.08 or else I would have to continue diving until I made 8 times! Hahah, it was sucha joke because I practically gave up after the 2nd one. In the end he got really angry and said I was just wasting his time and my time. I hated it when he was angry; it was scary.
Another thing I like about Herbert is, he's a fellow man utd fan! (: Hahah we would always talk about soccer matches after training and his views are always so funny! Although he has been away for about half a year already, I still miss him very much and I hope to see him again someday.
Now. Let's move on to John. John.. What can I say. The chances of me surviving 10 sessions of training without getting a single scolding by him is very low. Heh :P He lovesssss to give me long talks and he's usually the only one talking - and he complains about it alot when I don't talk to him. There's just some words that are so hard to be spoken so he can't actually really blame me :D
I would like to thank John for giving me 891274365417823 chances to stay in COE, even though I knew very well that I wasn't really up to it. However much I didn't belong there, you let me stay to prove myself. I'm truly apologetic for failing to do so 99.9% of the time, but there are some times where I had genuinely tried to, while other times I'd rather believe that I didn't make it because I didn't try, and not because I wasn't good enough. It's something called self delusion, heard of it? :D
Also, thank you for never giving up on me. When everyone including myself gave up on me, you didn't. You even tried to push me harder. It didn't always work, but thank you for trying. But no thank you for my most hated set - 30x100 one dive hard one mod. Hahah that is my worst feared set XD I also don't like 1500 free/fly.. LOL. Once again, thank you for everything you've done for me. I hope to be able to see you soon at an international competition. (That meaning that I'm representing singapore haha.)
Uncle Auyeong.. Nothing much to talk about. Except that he always gives rubbish warm ups! ): Hahah no not kidding. He likes to boil tea while we're training and I would like to thank him for letting us play occasionally! (Can we play tmr? XD) And all the jokes you crack are really funny. Things like the Camerfag&Diamond joke and etc etc. Thank you for taking care of all of us after Herbert left and whenever John's away (:
Last but not least, thank you swimmers of COE for making training more bearable all this while. Training has been enjoyable (most of the time) with you guys and I'm really sad that I am leaving ): Keep in touch and continue training hard! Don't pon training for no reason!! (Specifically referring to some people. You know who you are!) Again, hope to see you soon at a competition! Till then, study hard train hard and rock on! ;D

Hohoho! Christmas is coming soon. In 12 days. How time flies. It was like yesterday when I got back my PSLE results. One year has passed, just like that. Looks like 23 days are gonna fly by really quickly too D:
Anyway! I really didn't intend to blog today, but upon seeing that Ultimate Meatball has updated his blog, I felt that I should be a good example and blog consistently - probably every one or two days. Hee (:
Dental appointment today. Got an x-ray of my teeth burned in a disc + a clay figure of my teeth before I extracted my teeth and put on braces + a letter of referral for the dentist in Auckland. Hahah. I have to go back there again next week! Argh!
Hmm, after that went to robinsons and got a pair of adidas slippers! Also got a new black + white + my fave colour orange adidas jacket which was super nice (: Gotta stock up on these things before I go. Hurhur. My sis got a nike jacket which was uber green (but the green was really nice so I don't blame her). My dad got a new wallet too. I think that's about it. Not that we weren't nice enough to get my mom anything. She bought all her kitchen appliances long ago and didn't see anything she fancied today. Lol.
Went home and planned to play tennis today.. Ohman it really feels like a saturday today. But it's a thursday, and it only feels like saturday because we got afternoon training off today. It was supposed to be tmr, but the john's coming back tmr. So we had to have today off instead to avoid suspicion. But come to think of it, I know john reads my blog. Whoopsies I think I just blew up the secret. Oh well.
Tennis was cancelled.. Skies got dark and well, you know what follows. Pouring rain. So I started continued packing. And needless to say, my room is almost done! Hahahah I feel soooo efficient (: Ego stepping in. Heh. Raining even harder now. Looks like the rain won't stop for about a month or two. Pfft.
My room used to have 4 cupboards.. I've emptied 3 of them. Moved 2 of them out already. Will be moving 1 more out on Monday I think. My room is so empty. Now there's only my empty study desk and bed )':

Not quite the storybook ending I wanted. The Golden Compass was interesting and all, but it didn't have a proper ending! Argh I guess that's on purpose so that we'd continue watching the 2nd, and the 3rd movie. But the ending was really really abrupt! ):<

Anyway, movie outing with amandakhoo aliciafong sarahtan was fun today. Especially when we were at KFC and amandakhoo was damn funny. Shan't bother to type it out here; you wouldn't get it anyway (:< Hee.
Hmm, oh yes. Wanna say WELL DONE! to all SEA Games swimmers. Hahah Ting got gold for 400IM! :D Looks like all the training paid off, didn't it? Hahah I wish I had the perserverance she had. I doubt it'd come to me any time soon though :/ Bahh. Already losing interest in training but luckily there are people like sarahlai sele eve nickchew! richard and scott who make training much more bearable. But nick can be such a retard at times. (I know you're reading this :D)
Dental app tmr -.- I'm getting sick of going for dental appointments every week! Pfft. No afternoon training tmr to brighten things up! :D Mighttttt be going out for another movie (Can't decide whether to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks or Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium) then maybe dinner at Chomp Chomp at night with the big group. Yeah man so fun. Heh.
Bad thing is, I got scolded for not being able to help pack my house today when I went out. Looks like I'll get scolded again tmr. Oh well.
Sarahlai's back from Genting and she got me donuts. Yay. SICC people are back from bangkok too. Can't help but be afraid that it might just be the last time I see some people. Aaah. Why do you have to go away again!?
