I AM GOING TO BE THIRTEEN TOMORROW AND I AM SICK.

Haven't been to school for 2 days now )': Boohoohoo. Ain't that just so sad?
Will be skipping the 5 item test for PFT tomorrow.

On tuesday when I went for training, the damned hard set was:

4x300 Pull
1500 Free 1.20 pace
(something here; can't remember)
1500 Free under 1.20 pace
2x300 or something like that.

And I seriously couldn't move at all!
I couldn't even make 1.20 pace! And I totally screwed training up.
I breathed almost every first stroke (and last)
And I didn't do streamlined push off.

Herbert was super mad with me.
So at the end of training, he made me (and Aaron) redo 1500 Free.
Yeah. But we did 800 in the end.

I was coughing throughout training, and I felt super uncomfortable.
I went home, literally collapsed on the sofa, gobbled up my dinner, and felt super tired. I slept real early that night.

The next morning (Wednesday), I woke up at around 5.30 and I felt super sick.
I knew I was sick
I forced myself out of bed (I could barely get up) and took my temperature.
ZOMG 38.0.

I walked out of my room and woke my dad up.
He told me not to go to school and stay home to rest.
He then brought me to see a doctor after sending my sister to school.

At the clinic, my temperature was already 39.0.
The "nurse" kept me isolated in a room because they were scared that I had dengue fever.
And I fell asleep in the room.

After waiting for a super long time, the doctor finally came to see me.
She gave me an MC for three days; and I was not allowed to train until Monday.
I mean, MONDAY!? I would have missed alot of sessions! >:(
The doctor said that if I went to train, I would have difficulty breathing because my throat is infected and my nose is almost totally blocked.

I didn't believe it. I felt okay. I could breathe normally.
Until this morning.
When I woke up, I choked because I couldn't breathe. And whenever I coughed, my throat will feel like it's dying. And I have no appetite at all.

And now I'm here, posting about how I fell sick.
Interesting?

I shall go and do my Philosophy PT now.

HELLOLOLOLO!

Once again, I'm finally back to update my blog. Am planning to change skin. Maybe after this post.

Day two of comp. Had 5 events on that day (not including relay).

Hardly did any PBs. Oh boohoo.
Started out with 200 IM. Swam a 2.50. It wasn't exactly a good way to start the 2nd day of comp.
Then almost immediately after that, I had 50 back. Didn't do a PB, and worst of all, I missed 3rd place by a meagre 0.12secs! It was so saddening.. And i practically broke into tears.

Supposedly had 100 fly after that. I couldn't take it. I was too tired. No PBs, and my feel of the water totally sucked. Couldn't move at all.

I went up to my team manager (Uncle Daniel) and i requested for a withdrawal. And i withdrew from 100 fly. I don't regret it.

After the interval, 200 free was up. First event of the 2nd session. Didn't expect any PB, nor medals. In the end, i swam a 2.23 which was one second away from my PB, so yeah. It didn't turn out too bad.

Then i had a bit of time to rest, for there were some events in between 200 free and 100 free. Yeah then i had 100 free. I knew that i was going to clinch the gold medal, but the question was, could i break my PB?

Well, i didn't. Did 1.04.20. At least it was a low 1.04! And anyway, my PB was 1.03.97. So, i might as well say i did my PB.

Yeah. So that was 100 free.
Then it was my last event for the day, and the meet!
Also the best event.
4x50 IM relay! OMG MY TEAM ROCKED.

Asian team A was made up of:
Backstroke gold medalist: Isobel!
Breaststroke gold medalist: Anissa!
Butterfly gold medalist: Liwen!
Freestyle gold medalist: ME!

There was no way we would lose. And yeah, we clinched the gold medal. And we broke the record by 2secs! Well done us!

Oh yes, in the last post, I forgot to mention that our 4x50 Free relay was made up of the same people (Isobel, me, Liwen and Anissa) and we broke the record by few milliseconds.

The APSC team gathered at the airport, and blah blah.. Had breakfast, then we roamed about aimlessly in the airport for a while, then checked in and yeah. We left for perth.

We arrived in perth FIVE whole hours later. OMG. Had a lot of fun in the airplane. Thanks to my sitting partner VANESSA LIM. Hahah. And her sitting partner, zach ong. Lol.


And when we arrived at the hotel, our coaches asked us to try out the pool. But the pool was a play-pool. So we went to play instead.

TODAY ROCKED.

Yup, today totally rocked like hell.

First of all, today's set was quite nice. As in, I haven't done that much backstroke since I first joined COE. Weird, you may think. But it's the truth. I've been training freestyle all this while, basically. It's time I moved on to another stroke (:

Next, sports fest was a success. Kinda, anyway. Erm, Mass Dance was very successful, despite the fact that the sec ones had to rehearse for a million times before the actual thing. And I had to run the 8x50m track relay 'cos Tarbet couldn't find anyone to run it. I was the 3rd runner, and i think 4 out of the 8 people chosen to run were from my class. One was a sec three, and the rest were other sec ones who couldn't run at all (no offence meant). I mean, Tarbet was leading until the 5th runner, 'cos the first runner was the sec 3, and the 2nd till the 5th runner were the people in my class.

Then those ignorant sec ones (God knows who) who thought they could run fast ruined the whole thing.

Tarbet got 3rd in the end. Out of 3. We were leading at first! >:[

Anyway, sports fest ended at around 5, and Amanda khoo, Rachel, Sakeenah, Xinyi and I headed over to the pool to change out of school uniform. We met Ivy and after changing, we crossed the bridge and we hanged around for a while before entering the cinema to watch MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY.

Omg. It totally rocked my socks.

The whole thing was super duper funny, right from the start, to the climax, to the resolution. It was well-planned, really. And it was a really nice movie, wasn't it Ivy? :D

My favourite part was the 'scooter' part. OMG it was damned funny. Like, HA. HA. HA.

Okay. I've gotta keep on pestering Zhen Ren to send me songs. Blog again another day.
