FINALLY FINISHED HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS.

Three days. Grrr. Got lost halfway in the book, had to read alot of pages again and again before I could fully understand what was happening.

My hunches were right; not gonna post it out here in case some of you guys haven't read it and erm. Scold me for ruining the whole thing. Mmhmm.

Sorry for not updating for quite long. Nothing to post about, life gets more uninteresting by the minute. Been doing work and more work. Trying to buck up since semester one grades weren't that great.

School's going well overall, lost in class half the time, but yeah I guess I could keep up.
Training's going well overall too, seeing improvements in long distances. Managed a under 20min timing for 1500 free. Wow. I'm surprised.

And y'know sometimes I just don't know who to listen to, Auyeong or John. This morn they were arguing about what time I did. Like, Auyeong told me I swam a 2.27 for my 200 free; John insisted it was 2.25. They ended up 'arguing' bout my time.

I was like, okay.. Can't you guys just average it out or sth?

Sometimes I get annoyed when people fuss over me. Not like I'm that important or anything. They shouldn't waste their time on me. I might end up disappointing them.

Cried at friday pm's trg. It's been a long time since I last cried. I knew I wouldn't be able to make the set, but John strongly believed I could. I swam horribly. I knew I'd disappoint him. It hurt me to see him pinning his hopes so high on me, only getting a lousy swim from me in return.

Life. Am I making mine too complicated? I wonder.

Okay ignore the totally weird title up there. Hehs.
Today went to suntec with zr aaron nickho joseph to watch harry potter 5.

Hehs zr and I were both walking around like siao trying to find the others.
Cause we thought they were tricking us. So we made joseph walk around too.
But in the end we found out they weren't tricking us, so yep. Hurhur.

Movie was okay, I suppose. Was kinda anti-climax really.
Storyline was screwed & it all ended too quickly.

So I guess it's okay.

Nickho went to his cousin's house for dinner after the movie.
Zr's parents invited everyone else for dinner. So we went :P
Me zr aaron took joseph's car so we 3 were sitting at the back.

Ohboy is Aly a happy girl today! (:
29.43. YESSSSSSS.
First time I broke to a low 29. After training hard for 3 years.

This is my 3rd year running after swimming 29.85 at school nationals 2005. That's when I was primary 5.
Come to think of it, I can't believe I've been stuck at 29 for that long. That is exactly why I'm freaking happy that I finally broke to a low 29.

Year 2006 was probably the worst year of my swimming career so far. Back injury from end of 2005. Since then I never swam a 29 successfully for any comp in year 2006.
It's been 30, 30 and 30.

This year at SNAG I finally got back to 29. Swam 29.89. Not PB, but at least I knew I was getting back there. Perth meet I swam a 29.73. A new PB after 3 years. Quite satisfied, although I knew I could be doing better.

Singapore open, a total disaster. The only thing I can rmb are my tears.
Two weeks later, school nationals. Didn't expect anything. Especially when my performance at singapore open was bleaurgh.

Maybe it was the pressure I was facing that has been stopping me from achieving my goals all along.
Ohwells. All the same. I'm glad I got a new PB.

It was damn funny, cos me xinping amandatoh kept talking bout stupid stuff. So we were high all the way from the reporting area to the plunging blocks. HAHA.

Then somemore the floor was burning hot (cos of the sun -.-) so we were jumping like mad monkeys before our race. HAHA.

When I finished my swim, I wanted to look at my time. So I touched the wall. Then my first instinct told me to turn around and look at the board where the timings were.

So I followed my instinct. I turned and looked. But there wasn't any board. So I was like, 'Eh? Where's the board?'

Then I realised that this was toa payoh pool not sports school. Urgh. So I had to turn the other way round and look up. I was first. Heheh. IN MY HEAT LAH. 1.04.46.

Yep, I'm 3rd overall. Man, I could have swam a 1.03 I bet you! >:(
If only I didn't slack my 2nd lap. Cause my first lap was 30! Best split ever. So far. Heh.

Lost to joyce tan by 0.01s! I am so gonna win her for finals man. I don't care. She won me at singapore open so it's her turn to lose to me now! Mwahahahahs.

Addy was first! 1.02.55 or sth like that. PRODED. Hahah. I'll aim for a 1.02 for finals. I think I can do it. I'm confident now that I swam a 30s for my first 50 today (:

She took it, said "Oooh thanks!" and put it on the table.

Five seconds later, she wrote some word wrongly and wanted to erase it.
She took the hichew sweet, held it in her hand and started to 'erase' the word.

She realised then she told me and then we went high.

(Like, duh. What can I be here for other than updating? Hmm..)

Anyway, changed skin as you should have noticed by now. I think this skin's nicer.
Can't believe it wasn't a SOTD.

Nothing to post about, really.
Today was pretty boring. Training in the morning, slacked at home and com.

Man, should've gone for breakfast with the guys this morning. Would have been better than sitting at home and stoning and not doing work (Because I don't have any).

They went to watch transformers in the afternoon. Zhenren & I didn't go. Cos my dad obviously wouldn't allow, and zhenren had tonnes of work to do.

My dad just told me to "get a life". What the hell. I mean. THE COM IS MY LIFE. Hahah.

School nats begin tmr. It seems like yesterday that I swam for school nationals 06.
100 free's on wed; 50 free's on fri.

Damn. I've gotta swim my way to at least a medal. Just a medal will do. I like all colours (:

Today might be youth day, but YESTERDAY felt more like it :D

Went to the nanyang funfair, spent around 10 mins there with Cheryl tan.
Met Clement, Wanting and Shana there. Hehs.

Cheryl tan got bored then we left nanyang as soon as kim came.
Headed for ACS barker. The funfair was more fun, cos there was Aaron lim, Nick ho, Joseph, Zhenren, Aaron yeo and ILLYAS.

They were all trying to win the soccer ball. But guess who won it in the end!

Like omg! Well done him.

Then we walked around, and walked around somemore. It was damn funny. We went to the haunted toilet. Which was a total failure. But it was damn funny. Heheh.

While we were waiting for our turn at the haunted toilet, the guys were playing around with some watergun thingy. Then I know zhenren was holding it in his hands.
I was standing in front of him, and all of a sudden he just sprayed it at my face! ARGH.

Then I was like, WTH! And he claimed that he wanted to spray at my legs but then it didn't work. So he held it up in such a way that it was aiming for my face, then he started trying to spray it. THEN IT WORKED AND SPRAYED ME.

Heh. I'M SURE...

Then after the carn when kim and aaron yeo and joseph and cheryl tan and nick ho and illyas left, only zhenren, aaron and i were left. Then joseph asked if we wanted to go and watch soccer. Then my dad didn't allow, so we all didn't go.

I suggested going out for a movie. My dad allowed so in the end zhenren, aaron, and I went. Joseph made his own way there. We planned to go to plaza sing so we did.

But we had to wait for 45 mins before we got a cab! OUR LUCK WAS REALLY BAD. We missed 2 empty cabs and finally! I saw someone get out of the cab and then we all CHIONGED there. Hahah, quite funny.

Then we went to plaza sing. BUT WE MISSED THE SHOW. And the queue was bloody long. So we decided to try our luck at cine. So we went to take MRT.

And what did I say? OUR LUCK WAS SO BAD that we took the wrong MRT. HAHAH. So we had to go one big round. Tsk tsk.

FINALLY. We reached orchard. Then we just walked to Shaw cos we were sooooo tired already. And then we queued up for damn long. So we tried calling to book while queueing. But then we forgot that we needed a credit card. Aaron had one but he said he couldn't use it. So we just gave up and continued queueing. In the end there wasn't any show left to watch so we didn't watch a movie at all.

We all went for dinner and then we went to borders (not going to mention what books we saw) and then at that point of time, Aaron realised that he had ANOTHER credit card that we COULD HAVE USED TO BOOK TICKETS.

ARGH. Our luck was damn bad yesterday. Hopefully it'll turn for the better next time we go out again. Hehs.

I'd still like to go out with you alone one day, no matter how weird it'll be.
