I cried like hell today. I was super touched by the movie "A Walk to Remember". I'm telling you, although the plot was a teeny weeny bit cliche, I still love the movie even though I'm usually a I-dislike-cliche-plots-cause-they're-so-predictable person.
A little info about the story.
A Walk to Remember is a movie based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. A guy called Landon Carter gets into trouble and therefore he was punished by the school principal to participate in after school activities, such as tutoring disadvantaged children and acting in the school's Spring Musical. Through these activities, he is forced to interact with a girl he has been in the same class for forever: Kindergarten to high school. This girl's name is Jamie Sullivan.
Jamie Sullivan, unlike Landon Carter, was just a typical girl-next-door. Her father was a pastor. She always wore very ugly clothes which the popular kids (Including Landon) make fun of. One day, Landon approaches Jamie for help with the school play because he had difficulty memorising the lines.
After that, many things happened (which I am obviously not going to state here because it'll just ruin the whole story!) and both of them fall in love.
I am not going to tell anything about the ending either cause that's where all the tears come. In case you guys were wondering, Mandy Moore takes the role of Jamie Sullivan while Shane West takes the role of Landon Carter. I was really touched by how much Landon actually loved Jamie (:
Trailer here.
Have a nice day while I finish up my homework, finish up The Choice by Nicholas Sparks, and patiently wait for people to come online (:
Landon: Are you scared? Jamie: To death... [Landon looks upset] Jamie: Lighten up. Landon: It's not funny. Jamie: I'm scared of not being with you. Landon: Oh baby, that will never happen... I'll be here.
