HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Today was mediocre day.

Despite being Chinese New Year, I didn't receive any angpaos, and I probably won't because we don't really celebrate CNY here in NZ. Sad eh? Talking about angpaos, my grandfather (from my dad's side) has never given me an angpao in my whole life. Yeah that's how mean he is. That's why I don't really like him. Ohwell.

Training this morning was mediocre too. There was 2k timed kick AGAIN but this time I pulled it through. I tried my best to kick as hard as I possibly could throughout the whole 60 laps. Results? I got lapped 7 and a half times compared to the other day's 11 times, which is an improvement. That means I was 15 laps behind today but 22 laps behind the other day. Even though I was still 15 laps behind, I felt good about myself. At least I didn't let myself down.

School at 10.30am and it was bullshit. All the new students assembled in the hall and then we had the usual speeches blah blah blah. It wouldn't have been that bad if the people actually talked in ENGLISH but nooooo, they practically all talked in MAORI, which I didn't freaking understand. In the end I fell asleep but woke up when it all ended (:

We all went to get our school internet access thingos fixed and then we went home at 1pm. Tmr we'll be going to our tutor groups so I think it'll be less boring. Hopefully.

Oh yes, I think Gary is crazy.
First of all, he tells me that I can go 27secs for my 50 free, and this morning he tells me that he's giving me less than 12 months to go below 1min for 100 free. In fact, he's expecting me to hit below 60secs by SEPTEMBER. I know there was a Spring Meet in Sept which was short course, so I thought 1min for short course wouldn't be too bad, but he clarified and made it clear that he wanted me to do below 1min for LONG COURSE #$%^*&)(! Dang it.

Andre (Uh not sure how to spell his name) has ohso kindheartedly told me that I should get below 1min for my 100free as quickly as possible because he suffered something terrible when he didn't hit Gary's target for him. *Shudders* He refused to tell me what it was but I guess I'd rather NOT find out for myself.

Okay I'm hungry gonna go down for dinner. Ciao~
