Is it just me, or do people here have the habit of disrespecting and talking back to their elders? I just couldn't stand the way they were talking to Sam today at afternoon training. As a girl who sometimes disrespects my elders, if I can say that they were disrespectful, they really are. Trust me on that.

Gary was only at training for the first 10mins to give the programme. He then left for Juniors (The 12&under people had a competition) so he left Sam in charge of training.

It was Person B today. She was obviously in the wrong for shouting "GO" to Person A when Sam didn't even give the command to go. Sam obviously got mad and he punished Person B by making her get out of the pool and stand by the pool deck. It may seem stupid, but seriously you wouldn't want to be on the pool deck while you're wet because today was one hell of a windy day, so you would freeze on the pool deck. Person B was also unallowed to go into the pool unless Sam said she could.

Hence, Person B grudgingly stood by the pool deck. I mean, if I were her, I would do so without a complaint since I was in the wrong and I can't deny it. Oh, but Person B? Hahah, she just had to go against Sam's orders and hop into the pool when she couldn't take it anymore. She continued making noise and laughing and disregarding Sam's orders whatsoever.

Naturally Sam got angrier and he shouted at her to get out of the pool, and guess what Person B said.

"I'm not getting out. I DON'T WANT TO."

Bloody hell who is she to defy her coach's orders? So what if she doesn't want to get out. It doesn't mean she can choose not to. I mean, I don't want to do 2k timed kick all the time but I always follow orders without making any sound! Why can't she do the same?! I don't understand. The worst thing was her attitude towards Sam. Sam is her coach afterall and she doesn't have any right to talk back to him like that! I can't stand her attitude. Just thinking of it makes me sick. Ugh.

Okay. If you didn't find that a good enough reason, here's another one. When an adult scolds you, you will wait until he/she is done with the scolding before you point out where he/she may have misunderstood the whole situation. Kids like us aren't supposed to interupt while they are scolding us because it's rude, however unreasonable the scolding might seem.

Well, Person B got scolded for another reason (which I am too lazy to type about) so let's just say she wasn't in the wrong, but she was in the wrong for talking back to Sam. Again. She kept saying really loudly, "Can you please let me speak!?" in that furious tone of hers. Once again her attitude made me sick.

Honestly, I really really wanted to get out of the pool, tell Sam that I couldn't take the bad attitude/behaviour of the team anymore. And that it was pointless to continue swimming this session because it was obviously just a waste of time to swim with that kinda attitude.

Once again I had to put up with more nonsense today. At least I know my roomie for Nationals @ Christchurch is nice. I know who she is. Gary told me who I was put together with. Thank God I'm not with Persons A, B and C. I wonder if Gary knows I kinda dislike them. Apparently he put me permanently in their lane grrrrr.

I'm glad I know how important respect is to people now. I must constantly remind myself not to be like Person B and treat my elders with more respect. I'd hate it if people say I don't practice what I preach.

School's okay today just that Math Advanced is really boring because we're learning GST now and the teacher's just teaching everything that me (and my class) knows already. Plus she teaches really slowly and she keeps asking if she's going too fast. Oh god someone has to tell her that we don't respond to her questions not because we don't know the answers. It's because the answers are so obvious we feel there's no need to answer them. Sheesh.

Lighter note, no homework for english socialstudies science graphics foodtech heatlh & tech. There's only a bit of math because we're gonna be missing the next few lessons cause of althetics day.

I'm gonna finish up reading Ender's Game by tonight and then finish The Choice by this weekend so that I can start reading The Kite Runner and then Eclipse when my sis is done with it (:

Suddenly I'm in love with books. Better read while the interest lasts. I'll end off with a birthday wish (:

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY RACHELYU! <3
