DRILLZ
Monday, March 24, 2008

Okay today's training sessions were totally awesome!
(Cause they were slack, not because I had fun.)

In the morning we had 8k of drills. Yeah that was the entire set for morning session but of course we couldn't finish 8k of drills in 2 hours, so we cut it short to about 6k of drills + 6x33 HVOs.

I was super satisfied with my timings although I wasn't swimming freestyle. I hit 21secs for 33fly (And I was really shocked at this, because when Shannon told me I was doing 20s for 33fly, I didn't believe her one bit). I think I'll be taking 50 fly in NZ Springs because I'm UBER close to making the qualifying time. I'm just 0.19secs away from stupid QET ):<

And I maintained 23secs for 3x33 back, with and without dives (: Add them up and I get 1.09 for 100 back hahaha. The next time I swim 100 back, I'm gonna aim for below 1.15 :D

I'm mostly within 5% from the qualifying times for Springs so since I have up till September to train for it, I hope I'll make the qualifying times by then. Target events are: 50 + 100 + 200 + 400 free, 50 + 100 back, 50 fly and MAYBE 100IM.

Afternoon training was better than morning training. We had 4 sets of 20x33 drills, 1 set per stroke. It was quite tiring though, because the drills were damn hard to do properly -.- Especially the freaking breaststroke. Rah I hate breaststroke ):< Hahaha.

Uh that's all I'm gonna watch Step Up 2 tmr with my sis and her friends. Am looking forward to it. Nights everyone :D
