Why, and how did things get this way?

C'mon, you've always been good at reasoning. I'm sure you can come up with a good excuse that will somehow make me forgive you. For all you did, or didn't do.

You leave me speechless, disappointed and broken.

Go away if that's what you want. Leave me alone. Don't come back to me. Ever. It'll just hurt me more. Don't apologise either. It's not gonna help, and I'm just gonna be more disappointed.

And you may ask, what am I going to do about this?

Avoid. Avoid everything. Conversation, contact, the problems, the solutions, whatever. I'm leaving them alone. That includes you don't worry.

Afterall, sooner or later I'm leaving everything behind.
