hmm.. chinese.. hoping to get A* but an A would be good enough i guess.
higher chinese. DISTINCTION BABY! haha. NAWHH..
hehhs. just yesterday when i was on my way home from swimming, my dad suddenly said,
"Don't expect anything tomorrow, okay?"then i was like, HUH WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. then i thought hard, and finally figured it out (:heeeheeeheeeee.most of my friends are TOTALLY FREAKING OUT. it's as if YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON IT.i mean, yeahh it's important BUT not to THAT extent.
that's just crazy. if you start crying and all, not being able to sleep well the previous night.. that's just WAY too much. hahas.
no offence meant to anyone who actually experienced this. but, i mean, COME ON! it's only psle. O levels and A levels aren't even here yet and you're FREAKING? tsktsk.
but of course, it doesn't mean that you don't strive to do well in PSLE larh,
D-U-H.
everyone wants to do well (except for maybe some psycho freaks who don't have the LEAST understanding about wanting the best). yeahh i understand, BUT YOU'VE GOTTA BE ABLE TO TAKE FAILURE.
everyone hates losing. BUT CHAMPIONS ARE NOT AFRAID TO.
i guess that's what differentiates champions from normal people. champions just pick themselves up and start all over again. EVERYONE, should learn how to do this.
the day will come when even the most successful people will fail.
That. is when you'll have to learn.
OHMYGOSH. i sound like some freak who's trying to teach morals. HAHA. but i guess that's the purpose of blogs? to literally VOICE YOUR OPINIONS. so that's what im doing (:
OH. and theres this part from EVE NG'S blog that i REALLY REALLY LIKE. Eve, i hope you won't mind but here it is:
"can't people take failure? like, do you always have to win all the time?
look, i know how it feels when you lose.
but i bet i've lost out more than you.
wait till you try it. face it, no one likes to lose.
but we learn by losing.
there are times when you've really tried your best, but there's just someone out there better than you.
LOSING,
does that make you a loser?
well if it does, i've gotta admit that i am one.
cos i've lost so many times after so many years of competition.
don't ALWAYS expect to win.
if you do, i REALLY pity you :D"
there. don't you just ABSOLUTELY agree with it? i've got to admit i learnt alot from this post of hers. i just LOVE how it's expressed (:
lots of non-athletes can't understand this simple concept about "taking failures" and "getting up after you fall". they
shouldmust learn.
if not, living would be hell.
or maybe it's the case where they are just so not involved in outside activities that theres no way for them to understand! and i REALLY think that there's a need for this.
well if you've read till this part of the post, i think i'll give you a break to
think about what i've typed out. and HOPEFULLY, you'll understand. :D
The difference between ordinary and EXTRAordinary is that little EXTRA effort
