OHMYGOSHH.

yesterday's barbeque was kind of fun! hahas.
no, no. as in.. REALLY.

at first when my parents and i arrived at bayshore road, we got lost because STUPID JED didn't tell us the name of his condo. SO GENIUS OF HIM RIGHT? so my parents and i ended up at the wrong condo and went around it 3 times just looking for the clubhouse where the barbeque was held. rawrrrrr..

just when we were going to seek help, sarah lai's mother (aunt jenny) called my mom. and then you know my mom, told her that we were lost and blah blah blah, go talk to my husband.. tell him the directions.. and then we went to the correct condo and yeahh.

my parents and i arrived at the same time as nic ho and his family and herbert. so we kinda "set off" together in search of the correct barbeque pit. hahas. it was quite funny because at first we were going in the correct direction. then herbert said that it was THE OTHER way. so we made a detour and walked all the way back. then we saw jed and haili and aaron. then they said that it was the way that we first went.

so we turned and walked all the way back with the guide of aaron. hahas.

at the barbeque pit, at first the girls (me, eve, sarah and tammie) just sat on the bench and didn't do anything. while the older swimmers such as lynette, leonard, marcus, peishan etc etc. were helping to start the fire and barbeque the food. so the girls decided to help. we got up and then took paper plates and started to fan the fire. the boys (nicholas ho, haili, joseph, aaron, zhen ren) were worse. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING! THEY JUST SAT THERE AND WAITED TO BE SERVED! aargh.

it took us damn long before the fire was stable. finally, time to cook the food.

we started with beef. lynette and eve were holding the tongs. so they were in charge of "cooking the food". then the others (me, tammie, sarah) just stood there and fanned the fire. (how stupid could we get?) then lynette claimed that the food was cooked. so we put it on a plate and got the boys to try.

5 mins later, the boys came back to us.

"WAH LAO HOW YOU COOK ONE?! HOW COME SO TOUGH! CANNOT EVEN EAT LORH!"

then we were arguing back, "you try la! you try standing here for half an hour larh! so smart right?"

then they kinda kept quiet. (the beef was sent back for re-cooking by the way)

after an hour or so (or maybe longer) the boys finally were willing to get up to do some work. they took over the barbeque pit shift while the girls went to spread the garlic sauce onto the garlic bread. we like, brought over TWO BIG PLATES of garlic bread over to the bbq pit for them to be toasted. we thought there would be no need to spread more garlic bread for we didn't expect the ones we had spread to be finished so quickly.

after around 15mins, marcus came to us for more garlic bread. i was shocked.

so sarah and i got back to spreading garlic bread. what a rejuvenating thing to do. -.-

then we got some food (prawns, chicken, cute cute sausages, corn) to eat. wow. man, was it satisfying!

then after eating we all got really bored.. the boys went to the basketball court to play basketball. so we went to walk around the whole estate. it was really nice! there was a pub, and a really complete supermarket there! and the lobby of each block was really awesome. they looked somewhat like hotel lobbies. hahas.

oh and theres one thing that y'all shld know. alot of cats live at bayshore park. seriously, lots.

everyone started going home at around 11pm.. i think the last ones to leave were me and joseph. haha. i reached home at 11.30pm and i slept at around 12. xD

so overall it was quite fun.

fun times aside, there was also bad news (to us, swimmers).

WE ARE OFFICIALLY MOVING TO SPORTS SCHOOL! freak.

now this is BAD. b-a-d, BAD.
although it's not immediately.. but still.
why must they choose sports school? i don't get it!

few reasons why i don't like moving to sports school:
1. it's way off my route to school.
2. no public transport to go directly there!
3. traffic jams occur at the highway.

AARGH. dammit.
